This "Privacy Policy" helps you understand how we use your personal data that you provide to us when you e.g. creates an account on or buys goods from www.get-aplus.se (the "Website").

Who is responsible for personal data?

For what purposes does A+ process your personal data?

We primarily process your personal data in order to fulfill our obligations towards you, e.g. administer your user account, manage your order for an item and provide service and support. Below you will find more information about each purpose, where the legal basis for our processing is also stated.

For you as a customer

When you order goods from the Website, we ask you to provide relevant personal information and your contact information so that we can process your order.

We need personal data such as contact details and payment information to be able to administer and deliver your order and provide service. The legal basis is that the processing is necessary for A+ to be able to fulfill the agreement with you. If you do not provide the information that we request when ordering, you cannot complete the order.

A+ also saves your order history, i.e. information about which goods you ordered, quantity, date and price. We save such documentation to be able to provide you with qualified service after the order, as well as to handle any complaints, and requirements under current legislation. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in being able to provide good service and thereby contribute to the safe use of our goods, as well as for us to be able to make the necessary assessments, fulfill our obligations and safeguard our rights in connection with complaints.

A+ also processes your contact details and your order history for the purpose of carrying out market research. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in conducting such surveys in order to be able to evaluate and improve our products.

Your data may also otherwise be processed so that we can fulfill our legal obligations, e.g. according to the Accounting Act.

Your data is processed as long as it is needed for us to be able to administer the order and provide service to you, as well as to handle any complaints and requirements regarding legislation. We have ongoing procedures that ensure that we do not store unnecessary personal data and we minimize the storage time as much as possible. Normally, we save your customer data for a maximum of three years from your last customer contact, however, we save data that is needed according to the Accounting Act for up to 8 years.

For those who have a user account

When you create a user account on the Website, we ask you to provide certain information about yourself, e.g. your name and email address. We process this information to create and administer your account. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in providing and administering your user account.

When you place an order logged into the account, the purposes and legal grounds described above under "For you who are a customer" also apply. If you do not provide the information that we request when creating an account, you cannot create the account. However, you are not prevented from ordering products on the Website for this reason.

You can log in to "My pages" at any time and update most of the personal data you have left there.

We will delete your account if you have not logged into the account or placed an order for three years or notified us that you wish to keep the user account.

When you contact customer service, we process the personal data that you provide, where applicable, to administer your customer service matter. The legal basis for this processing is our and your legitimate interest in handling your case. Your data may also otherwise be processed so that we can fulfill our legal obligations according to law, e.g. the Product Safety Act.

We save your data as long as the case is ongoing and delete the data as soon as the case is closed.

For you who are visitors to the Website

Who do we share your personal data with?

A+ may share your personal data with other companies within the A+ group as well as partners at e.g. provision of IT services, transport solutions and payment solutions. These recipients only process your personal data on our behalf and according to our instructions. A+ takes all appropriate legal, technical and organizational measures to ensure that your personal data is handled securely and with an adequate level of protection when transferred to or shared with such selected recipients.

A+ may also share your personal data with other companies that process your personal data independently without us controlling how the personal data is processed, e.g. companies that handle transport of goods and payment solutions. We only disclose your data to such companies in order to fulfill our obligations to you. When your personal data is shared with such companies that are independent personal data controllers, your personal data is handled in accordance with what is stated in that company's information on personal data.

We share analytics data via third-party cookies for marketing and web analytics to improve our services.

A+ may also share your personal data with authorities if we are obliged by law to do so or if a crime is suspected.

Where do we process your personal data?

Your personal data will mainly be processed within the EU/EEA, but may also be transferred to a country outside the EU/EEA.

A+ only discloses your personal data to a country outside the EU/EEA if there is a legal basis and sufficient guarantees that your personal data is processed in a legal manner. What are your rights?

Deletion of certain data. You have the right to request that we delete your personal data under certain conditions, e.g. if the personal data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which we collected the personal data, if you object to an interest balancing of legitimate interest that we have done and there is no support for our legitimate interest, if the personal data is processed in an illegal way or if the personal data must be deleted to fulfill a legal obligation.

Despite your request for deletion, we still have to save your personal data in some cases because legal requirements such as accounting and tax legislation or e.g. if we need to retain certain information in order to establish, assert or defend legal claims.

Right to restriction of processing your personal data. You have the right to request a restriction of our processing of your personal data in certain cases.
